[ ... Even if he does appear to be in pain, still. He may heal fast thanks to aura and whatnot, but this is still a pretty fresh injury and a brutal one at that. Even with the crutches it still hurts a fair bit, and he's probably not as good at hiding it as he'd like to be. ]

[ They finally make it to the garden. There's a stone bench and a fountain nearby, so she helps him sit down.]

[ He shoots her a quick wink before accepting her help, supporting his weight against her a little as she helps him onto the bench. ]

[ He sets his crutches down at the side of the bench and clasps his hands behind his head, looking around at the garden with an unimpressed sort of frown. ]

Huh? Oh, no, I just meant the garden. But then again, I guess it just doesn't look as impressive when juxtaposed with you.

[ And then he just smiles at her expectantly - as if seeing whether or not she'll take such blatant flattery with grace. ]

I really like Vale. Sanctum was nice, but this place makes me feel at ease. Despite all the . . . crazy stuff.

[ There's a grin as he leans back on the bench, stretching his arms to rest his elbows on the back of it. ]

Haven's alright. Parts of it, anyway. Just like anywhere else, there are good neighborhoods and bad ones.

I grew up in one of the bad ones. So, no. I can't say I really do.

I prefer travelling anyway - I get bored to death staying in one place too long. But you could definitely say it was a motivator, sure.

I used to travel a lot when I was younger, but now I wouldn't mind settling somewhere. Of course, as a Huntress, that might be difficult.
