The two of them haven't really talked about it since then, but Akashi thinks about it from time to time. In fact, what gets transmitted via image is Emerald leaning in to kiss him—or, well, someone. Akashi isn't shown in the transmission because why would Akashi imagine himself in his imagination, too. Now it just looks like Emerald is kissing whoever's thinking about her, and since Mercury is sharing the same thought now, she's kissing him, too. ]
