Wide awake again. I know you didn't want any details, so there are two main things I think you should know about.
1. Things turned out okay. We fought. Pretty good fight! You're not dead or in jail. 2. Cinder is gone. Not sure what happened to her, might be dead. Emerald had a breakdown when it happened, so I don't know whether or not she'd handle it well if she went to the Dream Docks for an update. She might be changed here, but you know her better than I do. That's why I thought you should know, in case that comes up.
... okay i know i literally JUST jabbed at you about the details, but you need to tell me whatever you can about cinder and em. moreso the latter than the former tbh
No, she was with me. Cinder made an alliance with my mom, and they went to Haven to get the relic. Remnant-Mercury and Emerald blocked the path, along with this big guy. I didn't catch his name. Mom and Cinder went down into the vault with the spring maiden. I broke past you guys, and when I got down there, Cinder was gone.
I came back, and when Emerald that Cinder didn't, she started crying. Psyched out everyone in the room with a giant illusion of Salem, and when the illusion vanished, you, Emerald, and the big guy were long gone.
Hazel. [ A beat. ] That's the big guy, probably. Gravely voice, talks in sort of a drawl? Kind of seems like he doesn't really want to be wherever he is?
... Hold on, Emerald did what? How many people were affected?
Sounds about right. He jammed Dust crystals directly into his arms and charged himself up.
Everyone in the room. All of us. I don't know if Remnant-you or Hazel saw it, but at least ten people. I'm guessing by your question that's not the norm.
... Okay, that's new. I barely know the guy, never seen him fight before.
That's... a little more than normal. [ On one hand it's impressive - he would be tempted to tell Emerald what she's capable of so she could consider working up to it, if it didn't mean explaining just how he knew in the first place. ] And Cinder's just... gone.
Man.
It sounds like nothing went right on my end of things.
Well, like I said, you guys didn't wind up in jail or dead, so that's a plus. I'm not really sure how much else you want to know about, though.
[She's not even sure how much she wants to say for that matter, which is pretty much why she opted for voice instead of video. For one thing, she can't really talk about the identity of the spring maiden since she's actually here.]

Let me know when you're free. We'll hang out.

So. Was I wrong to tell you about that part?
