I have more in the way of embarrassing stories. I froze in my first tournament and nearly lost.

Too many people. When every move is up for scrutiny, it makes it difficult to concentrate.

It actually took a while. Even now, it crops up from time to time.

No kidding! That's actually one problem I've never had.

Oh I bet it could. In the end, when you're in the arena nothing else matters but you and your opponent. Just stop thinking about other junk altogether. Sponsors, the audience, forget 'em.

It's easier now. As a student, no one needs to sponsor me.

Well, just something to keep in mind when we end up facing off in the tournament. I don't want you blaming your loss on "freezing up".
